What is REM?
Rapid Energy Modeling is the process of taking key construction elements of an existing building (floors, walls, windows, roofs, mechanical and electrical services), and utilising them to produce a digital building model which subsequently identifies areas of low performance and thus high energy bills.
The process relies upon limited existing building information only; and produces tangible results enabling the client to identify areas for refurbishment to achieve the greatest energy savings and thus reduction of the carbon footprint of existing buildings.
