MetzREM is a subsidiary business of MetzArchitects. MetzArchitects have been using Building Information Modelling (BIM) for a number of years and we like to think of ourselves as at the leading edge of understanding BIM amongst Construction Professionals. One use of the new technologies associated with BIM is the development of Rapid Energy Modelling (REM) which allows us to offer additional value and service to our clients by analyzing the thermal efficiency of their existing building stock, enabling them to make informed capital investment decisions when it comes to refurbishment options.

We find that more and more of our work is involved in the refurbishment of existing buildings, however with energy costs at a premium, our clients feel the need to be better informed when deciding where and when to spend money on their buildings to realise maximum value.
